Apple is gearing up for an exciting lineup of products in 2025, including the highly anticipated MacBook Air featuring the new M4 chipset. According to Bloomberg, the M4-powered MacBook Air is expected to debut between January and March 2025, just a few months away. This follows the launch of Apple’s first M4-based product, the iPad Pro 2024 model, in June this year. In October, Apple expanded its M4 lineup with three new devices: the M4 MacBook Pro, M4 Mac Mini, and M4 iMac.
One of the standout improvements with the M4 chipset is the inclusion of 16GB of RAM as the standard configuration, which will enhance the performance of Apple Intelligence (AI) features on Macs.

The M4 Mac Mini signals Apple’s determination to remain competitive in the PC market. This follows the recent upgrade of the M2 and M3 MacBook Air models, which now feature 16GB of RAM as the base configuration—without any increase in price.
Turning to the upcoming M4 MacBook Air, the device is expected to retain its notched display and include a MagSafe charging port, mirroring the design of the Pro series. It will likely be available in 13-inch and 14-inch versions.
The new MacBook Air is anticipated to feature a 12MP camera, a robust four-speaker audio system, and an impressive battery life of up to 23 hours, powered by the M4 silicon chip.
Looking ahead to early 2025, Apple enthusiasts are also eagerly awaiting the iPhone SE 4. This model is expected to offer an affordable entry point for users to experience Apple’s cutting-edge AI features.
