Rahul Gandhi Reacts To BJP MP’s Claim Of Injuring Him, Says He was ‘Threatened’ On Parliament Campus

BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi was injured during a protest on Parliament premises on Thursday. He claimed that he was shoved by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi due to which he was injured. However, Rahul Gandhi said he was stopped by BJP MPs at the Makardwar of Parliament by BJP MPs. “BJP MPs were pushing and threatening me. There was a lot of jostling,” he said.

“There is a gate to go inside; They can’t sit here and stop me from entering. This is what happened,” Rahul Gandhi said.

The 69-year-old Pratap Sarangi, whose temple seemed to be bleeding, was later rushed to a hospital. Sarangi said: “I was standing in a long gap. Rahul Gandhi pushed another MP and he crashed into me. I fell and got injured.”

Opposition To Meet Lok Sabha Speaker

Congress MP Manickam Tagore told ABP News that the Opposition will meet the Lok Sabha speaker regarding Pratap Sarangi’s complaint. He also raised questions on the CISF, which is in charge of the security of the Parliament. He said: “The CISF comes under Union Home Minister Amit Shah. All this has been done to save Shah.”
