BPSC Sends Legal Notice To Khan Sir Seeking Apology Within 15 Days. Here’s Why

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Saturday sent legal notice to Faizal Khan famously known as Khan Sir of the Khan Global Studies. The notice was sent to him for his remarks against the BPSC during the protest in Patna against the 70th CCE exam. The educator has been asked to publically apologise to the commission and its offiials within 15 days time.

Khan Sir had accused the BPSC of selling seats and called the commission a “thief” as he addressed the students protesting in Patna outside the BPSC office. The BPSC aspirants were protesting against the December 13 CCE exam, demanding cancellation of the exam over allegations of irregualrities during the exam.

Taking a dig at BPSC, Khan Sir had also said that the country’s GDP fell first, followed by bridges and then BPSC. “Pehle desh ka GDP gira, phit Bihar mei pul gira, phir BPSC gir gya,” he said.

Legal Notices Sent To All 5 Branches Of Khan Global Studies

The BPSC has sent legal notices to all five centres of Khan Global Studies on Saturday. These centres are located in Mukherjee Nagar, Karol Bagh in Delhi, Boring Road and Mussalpur Haat in Patna, and Prayagraj.

Through the legal notice, the commission has sought an explanation regarding his remarks against the BPSC along with an apology in 15 days. Khan had reportedly claimed that the BPSC seats were being sold and that it was being carried out by people of chairman and sub-chairman level.

The commission slammed Khan saying that he not just made derogatory and baseless remarks but also incited the candidates to protest against the BPSC, which in turn worsened the law and order situation. It further stated that his act was improper and against the law.

Thus, BPSC wrote to Khan informing him how his remarks damaged the reputation of the commission and its officials. He was also called out for spreading rumors, which can affect the future of the candidates. If the educator does not respond, Bihar Public Service Commission can also file a case against him under the IT Act.
