The Supreme Court has called on all states to urgently consider suspending physical classes for students up to Class 12 in light of the severe pollution crisis.
Senior Advocate Gopal S raised concerns during the hearing, remarking, “The lungs of 10th and 12th students cannot be different from other students… if a direction can be given to stop those physical classes as well.” In response, the Supreme Court emphasised that all states should take an immediate call on whether to halt physical classes for students from all standards up to Class 12 to safeguard their health.
