A video showing a vendor spitting on vegetables while selling them at the Anupshahr police station area of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, has surfaced on social media. The act was captured on the phone and shared on social media, which quickly gained traction.
After the video of the vendor spitting on the vegetables went viral, the Anupshahr police took action and began searching for the vendor. The vendor was identified as Shabeem, a resident of Nai Basti. Subsequently, the police arrested Shabeem and sent him to jail.

Providing details about the incident, Circle Officer (CO) Anupshahr, Girja Shankar Pandey, said, “A video came to the attention of Anupshahr police, in which a vendor at the vegetable market was repeatedly spitting on vegetables and contaminating them. Taking cognizance of the video, the police promptly registered a case under relevant sections and arrested the accused, Shabeem, a resident of Nai Basti, Anupshahr, sending him to jail.”
Juice Vendor Arrested In UP’s Shamli For ‘Spitting’ In Juice
Previously, in a separate incident, a juice vendor in the Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh was purportedly seen in a video spitting in juice. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media drawing strong reactions from internet users.
This incident took place near the flower market in Shamli district. The accused juice vendor identified as Asif, was apprehended by the Sadar Kotwali police after the video went viral.
