Three people died in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district on Monday as the bomb they were assembling exploded in the Sagarpara area. One person died on the spot while two others succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
According to locals, the explosion occurred at the home of one Mamon Molla in Khairtala village of Sagarpara around 10 pm on Sunday. While one person died on the spot, the other two were taken to Murshidabad Medical College with serious injuries. The other two people also succumbed to their injuries later, according to a report by ABP Ananda.
As per preliminary investigation, police are estimating that the incident took place during the bomb-making process. However, the families of the victims claim the bombs were used to kill them by someone else.
