5 Police Personnel Injured As Car In Ex-CM Vasundhara Raje’s Convoy Overturns In Pali


Rajasthan News: Five policemen sustained injuries when a vehicle in former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s convoy overturned in Rajasthan’s Pali district on Sunday. The accident occurred while Raje was en route to meet former minister Otaram Dewasi to offer her condolences over his mother’s passing. Seven policemen were traveling in the car.

The injured police personnel have been identified as Rooparam, Bhag Chand, Suraj, Naveen, and Jitendra. Upon learning of the accident, Raje quickly made her way to the officers and ensured they were placed in an ambulance for transport to the Government Hospital in Bali. Local MLA Pushpendra Singh was sent with them to oversee their treatment.

The accident occurred as a police car that was escorting her between Bali and Kot Baliyan overturned while attempting to save a motorcycle rider. A BJP leader told news agency PTI that his car was positioned behind the vehicle that overturned thrice. He promptly disembarked and assisted in transporting the injured policemen to a hospital.

The injured police personnel are currently admitted to Bali Hospital, where Collector, Minister, SP Chunarama Jat, and MLA Pushpendra Singh have been present to ensure their treatment. 

Raje’s vehicle did not sustain any damage.

Violation Of VP Dhankhar’s Security Protocol In Sirsa With 2 VIP Caravans On Same Road: Report

In another incident, two VIP caravans were on the same road in Sirsa, Haryana, on Saturday in violation of protocol, according to sources sources cited by news agency PTI. This violation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s security protocol occurred when he was returning to the Sirsa helipad from Chautala village. PTI Sources familiar with the incident stated that no other VIP convoy is permitted to use the road that Dhankhar was using.

Dhankhar had traveled to Sirsa to pay tributes to the late former Haryana chief minister, Om Prakash Chautala, who passed away on Friday.
