Jake Paul’s GRAND Prize Money For Winning Revealed

YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul triumphed over boxing legend Mike Tyson by unanimous decision in highly anticipated main event at a blockbuster Netflix event held in Dallas, Texas, on November 15, Friday.

According to rumors, Jake Paul is set to earn $40 million, which is approximately Rs 338 crores in Indian rupees, for beating the former World Champion, while Mike Tyson is expected to make $20 million (approximately Rs 168 crores).

Jake Paul won over Mike Tyson in an eight-round bout, with the judges scoring it 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73 in his favor. Despite the loss, Tyson, 58, suggested that he might make a comeback to the sport, mentioning Jake Paul’s brother, Logan, as a potential future opponent.

The bout started with Paul coming out swinging aggressivly, unsettling veteran Mike Tyson multiple times in the early rounds but falling short of a knockout. Throughout the fight, Paul threw 278 punches, landing 78 with a 28% accuracy rate. His precision and control ultimately secured a memorable win over ‘Iron Mike’.

Making his return to the boxing ring after a 19-year hiatus, Mike Tyson gave Jake Paul a tough challenge in the early rounds. However, as the fight progressed, age and fatigue took their toll, enabling Paul to gain the upper hand in end rounds.

Jake Paul’s win improved his professional boxing record to 11-1, while Mike Tyson’s career record now stands at 50-7. This match was Tyson’s first return to the ring since his 2020 exhibition bout against four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr.

After Paul was announced the winner by unanimous decision, he complemented Tyson, calling him “a legend and the greatest to ever do it. This man is an icon.”
